HINTS TO MAKE YOUR STAY PLEASANT AND TROUBLE-FREE

We are so pleased you have chosen our townhome for your vacation stay. Lake Travis is by far one of the prettiest, cleanest and nicest lakes in Texas and the Hill Country views in the Point Venture area are among the state’s best.
In addition to all the fun lake activities, please feel free to take advantage of the golf course, tennis courts and other great amenities that are offered in Point Venture. They will help make your vacation truly memorable. You will need to use the electronic card key to enter the park, pool, weight room and library. It is kept on a hook close by the kitchen entrance. Please return it there to avoid a $25 replacement fee.
THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE PROVIDED
· Furniture
· Completely furnished kitchen, including oven, stove, refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, plus pots/pans/utensils/dishes, food processor, toaster, blender, electric skillet, electric roasting oven, electric slow cooker and electric fryer
· Paper towels, Kleenex, toilet tissue, 2 small soaps per bathroom
· Linens, towels, dish towels and dish rags
· Dishwasher detergent, liquid dish detergent, liquid hand soap
YOU MAY WANT TO BRING THE FOLLOWING ITEMS
· Food and beverages: also condiments
· Paper Goods: toilet tissue, paper towels, Saran Wrap, foil, sandwich baggies, garbage bags, clothes detergent. Paper plates, napkins and plastic ware are nice to bring if you don’t want to wash dishes.
· Personal toiletries: soap, shampoo, toothpaste, suntan lotion, personal hygiene items
· Extras: folding chairs, extra lake towels.
· Fishing: fishing tackle, fishing license, etc.
· Fun: boat, skis, wakeboard, tube, water toys/floats, golf and tennis equipment, Frisbees, volley ball, horseshoes, etc.
· Miscellaneous: ice chests, charcoal, lighter, lighter fluid
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

· First Aid Kit: Located in the pantry in the kitchen. Local Emergency numbers are in the Welcome book on the bar.
· Guest Book: Please sign our guest book located on the coffee table. Here you will also find a list of important numbers and a list of restaurants close by.
· Phone Service: We do not have land line telephone service. We all use cell phones. The service is good in Point Venture.
· Gas Grills: We have a large gas grill and a charcoal grill on the lower level deck available for use. You will need to bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid. Please thoroughly clean the grill when you are through so it will be ready for the next guest to use.
· Ipod: There is a cassette by the cassette player on the main floor that is an Ipod converter. Just insert it into the cassette player and plug it into your Ipod and it sound through the speakers. · Remote Controls: Each TV has its own remote control, and they are coded with colored dots. There is also a remote control holder with each TV that has corresponding colored dots. Please return remotes to their corresponding holders.
· Additional chairs: There are some folding chairs in the closet by the bathroom upstairs in the loft.
· Dining Table Leaf: There is a leaf that fits the table in the dining room in the closet in the loft. · Iron and ironing board: In the closet in the lakeside bedroom on the main floor.
· Hair dryer: in the hall bathroom on the main level.
· Toiletries: If you have forgotten any, we might have what you need. Upstairs, in the loft closet there is a small suitcase that has a few of the essentials that you may have forgotten. Feel free to use what you have forgotten until you get to the store.
· Pool/Weight Room/Park: There is a pass key (magnetic card hanging on a key rack near the front door). This card is your access to the pool, weight room, library and park. There is a $25 replacement fee for lost keys. Please return the pool key to its original place before departure to avoid the $25 lost key fee.
· Games: Feel free to use any of the games during your stay. All we ask is that you return all of the playing pieces to the appropriate game boxes so that we can continue providing this service to our guests. If we need to reorganize pieces into their appropriate game boxes or replace a game, a $50 “restocking fee” will be assessed.
· Ping-Pong equipment: We love ping pong and understand it can get exciting and intense. Please be considerate of the next guests and take care of the table, paddles, balls and net as if they were your own. Please do not sit or lie down on the table. If the table, paddles or net are damaged, a repair or replacement fee will be charged.
· Movies and Nintendo games. Please return all VHS movies and games to the original cases and to the Entertainment center downstairs. Please return all DVD’s to the bookshelf on the main floor. A $25 fee will be assessed for each missing or damaged movie, and a $100 fee will be assessed for each missing or damaged Nintendo game.
· Toilets: Please do not put anything in the toilets but tissue. You will be charged for a plumber’s visit if we must call a plumber to unclog a toilet. The fee will be deducted from your damage/security deposit.
· Broken Items: If you break an item, please let us know so we can take care of it.
